Selfless and Just
Ayame is in many ways an atypical Imperial. She is gentle, soft-spoken, good-hearted and sweet to all, is fiercely loyal to her friends be they large and small, and seems to emanate an aura of graceful bliss. This grace and good nature arise from her tumultuous past. The youngest of several competitive siblings, Ayame always seemed pushed to the side. Her parents chided her constantly for never being as warlike or skilled in battle as her siblings, and this led her to believe that if she wasn’t good at this, she wasn’t good at anything. Eventually she fled her home, only to become lost in the Viridian Labyrinth, where she was found by Azoulas and Fenris when their clan was very young.
She trained in her early years with the clan's warriors, and with their encouragement and wisdom, soon became adept in the ways of defense. When the time came to choose her role, however, she chose the class of Dignitary and the title of Arbiter. She did not wish to join the ranks of the Defenders, as her nature is too peaceful for a life of war. Her role often requires her to quell conflicts between clan members, and from time to time she is driven to use force rather than reason. In these instances, her training serves her well, and she is always able to subdue the offending dragons without injury on either side. In her many years serving the clan, she has proven herself worthy of her title, and has always found peaceful solutions to disagreements within the clan.
