Xac's Inner Demons
Drawing notes: Just like Xac, he is reliant on intimidation, but not as physically violent or brutal; Please don't draw him in NSFW situations. He is most always seen with Xac or alone, and his attacks are mostly with his claws, of which leave huge scars that catch on fire. Please don't add any strong language/swearing (he is actually more formal when it gets to language, compared to his other half's swearing). Also, his claws do NOT drip with blood, they are shadows or wisps. He also does NOT act on bloodlust alone; He prefers to emotionally manipulate his targets and use fear tactics (nightmares and his claws) to frighten them into submission.

The "Lifelong Test", the "Inner Demon"...Dark Xac is one of the two beings who his counterpart truly fears, the other being the Dark Lord Xero himself. In reality, he is known as the Temptlord, Demigod of Temptations, and is really hateful toward Xero due to his betrayal in the past.
He encountered Xac as a test to resist temptation, but in reality, he's been inside Xac's mind ever since creation. Being created by the God of Darkness himself, Xac's mentality was already mostly set in stone; He was proud of his successes, and had a fiery temper, lashing out at the slightest mistake, even if it was a tiny speck of dust left on the tip on his claw.
Dark Xac plays with his emotions to torment him into submission, giving his counterpart great agony and despair in the process. His powers are able to control Xac's mind, and take over completely if he's lowered his guard. This is when Xac's main struggle kicks in, and he has to remind himself of what he's aiming to do before his emotions are clouded by these desires. Even when he appears fully consumed by Dark Xac's powers, Xac is able to resist and fight back, seemingly defeating his inner demon.
Due to his being created as a state of mind, Dark Xac never truly dies. He tends to reform deep within his counterpart's mind and regenerate himself, awaiting the next major event that could potentially bring back his greatest desires before striking again. Every fight ends with a new, more powerful form, and Xac has to rethink his strategies since just like himself, Dark Xac analyzes and memorizes tactics -- Something he can do while remaining in his mind.
Eventually, Dark Xac disconnected from Xac's mind, and lived his own life. Somehow, the Temptlord became his own identity and eventually, Dark Xac was working as his servant and right hand man. Temptlord would send Dark Xac back into the kingdom to terrorize everyone living inside, and would eventually follow to cause more damage, but they would always be fended back and were temperarily defeated.
After a while, Dark Xac grew tired of dealing with Temptlord and his grudge, and during what was probably their greatest battle yet, ran off when Temptlord was distracted with his foes.
Dark Xac had met someone who used to be an inner demon herself, and while no one knew her name - not even him - he fell in love with her and wanted to be with her for the rest of his life. Upon being asked what he wanted to do about Temptlord, Dark Xac commented that "the grudge was his alone this whole time, and I never want to deal with him again", soon after questioning how he, a vile demon, could ever change from his former ways.
After a few words of encouragement, Dark Xac stripped of his old self and became a new being, a being who still had the frightening exterior, but a much kinder heart. His name?

Initially I was drawn to Dark Xac because I always like the interplay of wraith and marble, but I think it actually matches his actual character design pretty well! The way it references his more fluid and immaterial nature is actually pretty clever, and I like how the shadowyness is rendered in his reference. I also love how his backstory is "person is so toxic that their inner demons couldn't take it"

He looked menacing enough as it is - the female banescale silhouette is quite intimidating, and adds on to the character the dragon is representing. I like how you structured all of this, and his reference art in his bio to go along with it. Very well done
