Bein' a pirate be as natural as Jao bein' a lazy lout. I was a young lad, but I ne'er let meself be pushed around. I boarded a docked ship, 'n the rest be history!

“Do you have a stash of gold somewhere? And do you have.. A map that X’s the spot?”
Aye, o' course I 'ave a pile o' doubloons stashed away! They dern't call us Guardians, Guardians, fer no reason.

“If you loved being a pirate that much.. Why did you choose to leave?”
Ah, love, I di'nae exactly choose. Th’ seas blew me t' th’ direction o' Jao, 'n he was no seafarer.. I wench me crewmates dearly, even if they we be good fer naught Mama's laddies.

“What did you do that you most regret while being a pirate?”
I dern’t regret any part o' me bein' a pirate. It were bein' in me destiny, every last second o' it. Th’ good, th’ bad, 'n especially th’ bilge-suckin', it were all meant t' be thar.

“How did you meet Jao?”
Jao were bein' on his own journey across th' sea, and he happened t' be unlikely enough t' uh.. Encounter me and me crew.

“Do you plan on staying in the Gardens forever?”
'twould break Vee's wee heart if I left too soon. Me 'n Jao 'ave been separated afore, so I wouldna be too worried if he stayed here as I traveled a wee bit more.

“Who’s your favorite in the garden, or in the burrow? Or even the hearth?”
I love Domi 'n Modi as me owns sprogs, that be fer sure. Vee be a sweet lass. I reckon Zatrazin would make a fine pirate, given th’ chance. Aniya be like a sister t' me, but I could do without her comely lover.. 'n out o' th’ hearth? Vaanadhi be mighty helpful 'n kind.

“Are there any dragons that you don’t like?”
Oh sweet summer sprog, o' course thar be! I am nah ashamed o' this either, 'tis aye t' nah get along wit' someone! I could ne'er hate Seraphin, but th’ way she moves through water reminds me o' stalkin' maren folk. Vinna be too much o' a whiny lass. 'n Iker be way too gloomy, thar be happiness 'n new experiences in th’ world!
