Bayonetta

"Hush, hush. The stars are trying to talk, but they are very quiet. I can't have you talking over them."

Bayonetta- often shortened to just Bayo- arrived to the Rotmarrow Clan with her twin Keterina through the underground hatchling trade, when she and Keterina were able to escape the caravan that had been transporting them. Found in a state of dehydration and delirium by the then-young Landon, who had been scouting out a location for a vineyard, he brought them back to the Lair posthaste so the Clan could help them as best as they could without a dedicated healer.

Bayo recovered from the ordeal quicker than her sister, both physically and mentally. She quickly set about putting her skills to good use for the Clan, swiftly establishing herself as a talented Astral Mage. Though she refuses to go into detail on what exactly that entails, the Clan's luck as a whole has noticeably improved since she arrived.

Despite being exceedingly close with Keterina, to the point that some of their Clanmates are convinced that they had been conjoined at some point prior to finding the Rotmarrow Clan, Bayo and Keterina argue constantly, even over inconsequential things such as whether blueberries or sugarbees are the better treat. The most notable occurrence of one of these spats was when they briefly fought over who got to be Nil's partner- while Keterina was there first, the argument was resolved when she and Nil split, Nil eventually becoming Bayo's mate. Though Keterina and Bayo still sometimes bicker and tease each other over the ridiculous grudge match, it's gotten less charged since Keterina found a mate of her own.

Bayo and Nil tend to be rather strict parents, both pushing their children to be the best they can possibly be. Bayo has been noticeably disappointed in Ignatius's poor magical talent, and especially in Merlot for choosing a career path that almost entirely forsakes magic. Regardless, she does her best to be supportive of all her children in spite of her bias towards magic-users.
