Shiro is an expert in hand-to-hand combat, and proficient in the use of most intergalactic weaponry, with a superb tactical eye. He is a neigh unparalleled military pilot, and has chartered multiple voyages across the cosmos. He is observant, pragmatic, and above all, compassionate.

Black Paladin: Shiro lead his team through the discovery and establishment of the second team of paladins. He was the second Black Paladin.

Captain of the Atlas: Shiro is acting Captain of the Atlas, a powerful ship built from ancient technology that was once believed lost to time, updated with all the universe has to offer. It also turns into a giant robot.

Distinguishing Features: Shiro has a notable scar across the bridge of his nose, and hair that has gone shock-white as a result of both arcane influence and physical trauma. He uses a prosthetic as a right arm.

Personality: Shiro is level-headed, pragmatic and compassionate. He's cautious with those he allows close, but with his inner highly guarded inner circle, he lets his more daring, thrill-seeking nature come to the fore. No one who chases stars can be anything but one of them.

HISTORY

____All Shiro had ever wanted was to see the stars. From a young age, he was diagnosed with a condition that would have left him land-bound and threatened his life. He pushed himself harder and faster than his peers and achieved progeny-status for his status for how well he flew. It landed him a position on a ground-breaking research endeavor. Unfortunately, that put him right in the middle of an intergalactic war.

____Shiro was imprisoned in the Galra Empire. Due to his prowess on the field, he remained as one of their gladiators and experimented on by their arcanist druids, until he escaped and returned home. Overwhelmed by the cruelty and scale of destruction lead by the Galra Empire, he joined with an an-empire coalition, spearheaded by the legendary weapon, Voltron, and became the leader of the Paladins until his untimely death.

The rumors of his death were greatly exaggerated.

____Rescued by his mate, he eventually resumed the ultimately victorious fight against the Galra Empire, as Captain of the Atlas, and currently spends his efforts on philanthropic work across the universe, aiding the repair and reestablishment of war-torn communities. Also, he believes lasers go blam, blam, blam.
