Pelagorn

A warrior who once guarded a wretched tyrant. When he was exiled by the tyrant's arranged wife, a terrible skydancer who was afraid of Pelagorn's devotion to his king and Charge, he wandered the Plateau hopelessly. Fortunately, the wind guided him to a clutch of orphaned harpy eggs, which he adopted when the parents did not return and raised to adulthood over the course of a decade. Once his children finally flew the nest and joined proper harpy clans - maintaining contact with him, of course, as he is their beloved father - he left his old home in the peaks and ventured back into civilization in search of his own happiness, and a new Charge to protect and love. He found his way onto a dating show to see if they would actually find him a mate, and lo and behold, they did.

Adoptive father of a clutch of five harpies, four girls and a rare boy. He dotes on his children, even though they've flown his nest and rejoined harpy society. These children form a strong link between Pelagorn's new clan and harpy clans, giving rise to a powerful alliance.
