Where light meets sea.. The heavens fading from deep, royal purples to pale, pastel blues as the last thin rays of light shimmered over the ocean's edge. Alighting the sea afire for those few, precious moments. Until darkness finally settled, broken only by the gentle shimmering of a star laden firmament.

Gaze torn from the horizon, and figure slowly padding away from the sea-cliffs edge, there laid now a still greater sight. A vast field of blooming spider lilies, sweeping out inland, and following the coastline. To the south, over rolling hills; coming to the halt at the foot of a ghostly, yet entrancing cathedral. And to the north, the expansive field would vanish into the dark treeline of dusk-hewn foliage, the shadows claiming a brilliant portion for their own.

Leaning down to the first blooms of millions, the beast traced an ichor toned petal with a single talon, watching as it's silken edge refuse to yield. Sanguine. A colour so deep and vibrant that one could be lost within it's intensity for hours on end; these blooms were ones to be treasured indeed. Satisfied, the graceful creature raised their head high after inspecting the swathe of blossoms afore them, as a multitude of wings fluttered in gentle, rhythmic motions. Lanterns that were draped across their hip and along their form swayed, disturbing the insects hidden within. Releasing a brilliant, living swarm of shimmering lights - a few choosing to settle upon the creature they called home.

biography.
The caretaker of the Stygian Plains, and a master alchemist - specializing in creating incense, tonics and oils, all infused with the potent vibrancy of the Spider Lily. Few know of it's more arcane effects than they. If spoken to, their tone is low, guttural, only eliciting a few, scant syllables. (w.i.p)
