The Oracle

As you make your way along a well trodden dirt path a hut comes into view. Even though it's only been recently built it looks as though it's been here for ages, with moss already growing on the stone walls and various bones dangling from strings outside. As you enter you notice that it is unusually dark inside, only being dimly lit by small candles, and you squint against the darkness, trying to see what this den looks like. You're unsuccessful, and a gargantuan Guardian steps in front of you, snaggle-toothed and scaleless. He glares down at you from behind what you can only assume is a helmet, eyes gleaming in the dim light.
A rough, annoyed sounding voice calls out from behind him.

"Ah, lay off Vis! I can handle a single visitor on my own"A gnarled pearlcatcher steps around the guardian, shooing him away.

She turns to face you, bright red eyes gazing out at you from under her hood, and you now notice the growth emerging from the bottom of the hood. It looks like a mutated claw, and as you stare the pearlcatcher scowls.

"Well? Did ya come here just to stare? Then shove off!"

This gnarled old Pearlcatcher is the Oracle of the Leaping Water clan.
Originally from the Scarred Wasteland, Ketsugo was brought into the clan not long after it was formed. She is a wise old dragon, and is skilled in several forms of magic.
Her personality leaves much to be desired, though, and she has a nasty temper. Because of this, most of her clanmates avoid her. Despite this, Xander trusts her and will often go to her for advice in times of need.

Her wings are torn and tattered, leaving her unable to fly, but this doesn't seem to bother her.

Recently she discovered that she is the charge of a Guardian that was brought into the clan after nearly drowning. She did not take kindly to the discovery, but begrudgingly allowed the guardian a place in her den.
