Xochtil

A mostly quiet and reserved dragoness, Xochtil is patient, caring and brave. A very good listener she prefers to hear both sides of the story and usually reacts impartial to conflicts. In addition to that she’s a good trouble-shooter and can quickly come up with a solution to a given problem, have a good leverage when making decisions, or simply think on ways to improve life around the clan.

Role: As the leader, Xochtil helps out in any and all aspects of clan life whenever she can. She carries the most weight in the council when making decisions, but always takes the will and good of the clan into account. She also builds clan morale, actively participating and supervising all activities as well as giving advice.

Backstory:Xochtil’s small egg was found by a Fae couple along the rivers of lava of the Ashfall waste, perhaps abandoned or forgotten; they took it as their own and raised her as one of their children. When the hatchlings grew up and started to make their own lives, her brother Tesla decided to stick with her, having grown very close to her, and together they searched for a new clan to call home.
Different events lead to a small group of six forming and deciding to start their own family clan, and among them Xochtil was chosen as leader due to her knowledge, magic abilities regarding fire and protection and her bold pioneer nature.
-Somewhat of a bookworm, she’s mostly attracted to books about protective magic, the 11 elements and their relationship between themselves and the flora and fauna in Sornieth.

-Xochtil likes metals and ores (specially copper) and for some reason took a liking in bottled embers, starting to hoard them.

-She has stated multiple times that she can no longer sleep well if she isn’t curled in Zash’s fur or under his wings and is often seen perched on his shoulder.

-Erlen is her closest friend and both like to talk and exchange information as they do their daily check-ups on the clan and Erlen is the one steadily teaching the Fae to alter the tone and volume of her voice to appropriately express her emotions.

-Xochtil also enjoy quiet chats at night with her brother figure and right hand, Tesla.

-Delilah is trying to teach her the Coatl tongue in order to have a better understanding and relationship with the refugee coatls of the clan.

-Her Loga familiar was a gift from the clan members to her and she treats it with utmost care. Additionally she has bonded with a Death's-head stag and a Celestial antelope who usually roam free or deliver messages and things among clan members.
