Luvon was always a bit of a gem hoarder, perhaps past the normal amount of hoarding for a dragon. He would trade anything he got for gems - food, materials, precious items, and even the very bedding he slept on. The only things worth his time were gems and the beautiful clothing they could buy him. He sought to look as beautiful and rich as he could, above all else. On the hunt for things to trade for gems, Luvon stumbled into Fire territory and was promptly met by a beautiful snake adorned with gems. Fascinated by the creature, he tried to catch it in the hopes he could pry the gems from its scales - only to have the creature bite him before slithering away. Within a day, the poison took effect, and Luvon's scales were covered in an explosion of bright-pink gems. What should have been a dream was a nightmare - not only could he not remove the gems, but they contrasted horribly with his beautiful scales! Ever since, Luvon has tried to study the origins of Gembond and how it may be removed. He has thrown many gems at the problem, only to find nothing that could help his affliction. It has humbled him, in a way, but also made him very bitter and upset, afraid to prance about and show himself off as he used to.

Luvon wears as much dark clothing as possible to hide the blinding pink monstrosities that cover his skin. He used to wear a face mask and black wraps to cover himself up and feel like his old self again but after Muck and Sludge's relentless teasing for him being a teenage wannabe emo he just stuck with wearing a black sweater hiding the mass of his skin condition.

Familiar
Luvon's chameleon familiar chose him rather than the latter. Attracted to the vibrant pink gems that manifested on Luvon's scales this little bugger tries futilely to devour them, much to the dragon's annoyance. Luvon tolerates his companion and dubbed him Glut for his voracious appetite for gems.

Job
Luvon landed himself a job working with Muck and Sludge at their perfume shop. He is a mediocre sales associate, often trying to avoid all customers prying eyes from his gem covered body. Muck instantly notices this and takes pity on him and changes his position to restocker and stand arrangement. Luvon has a knack for beautifully displaying the merchandise In the shop, arranging it in various shapes surrounded by complimenting scents.

Muck
He and muck get along very well, they have similar situations, trying to get rid of a body defect that hinders them from living a normal life. Luvon and Muck often scheme ideas for one another on possible solutions to their problems.
