- Founder and head of Newbright Consulting, the premier admissions consulting firm to get students into the Tiandi Xueyuan
- Each school has a different application and so she specializes primarily in the TDXY's process. For Midwayers coming from the outside, who are her biggest customer base as they are the ones most likely to apply, this involves curating recommendations and summaries of community responsibility from community elders to demonstrate a dragon's responsibility, providing samples of academic writing, exam help, entrance essay help and interview help
- She does admissions for every age though. For those of Youngling age, all that's required are some basic essays, a summary of duties from any adult (including a parent or relative), a short exam, and honestly academic work at this point is optional. For those of Servanter age, they look for the same thing, except with more of an emphasis on research done in the broader world (just as those born into the TDXY do with their Voyagehood journeys). For those who wish to enter a professorship as an adult, no exam or essay is required, but that is made up for by the fact that your summary of community responsibility and samples of academic research (which you must provide more of than a Voyager) must be airtight--as must be your interview.
- Actually has kind of a slimy reputation among some dragons, because while she always stops short of outright cheating dragons into the university, she charges an exorbitant amount for her services and knows the game far too well for many peoples' comfort. Fyra, who runs admissions for Midwayers, particularly dislikes her and unbeknownst to her has started rejecting students simply because it's too easy to tell that their content has been edited by her. To her, it's all just business, but idk…some of the stuff she's done has certainly justified her reputation.
- She has a love-hate view of both Beilun and Tianhou, solely based on how she views both of their impacts on her business. Under Tianhou, admissions was much more cutthroat, meaning she could charge higher prices--but at the same time, this caused a lot of people to lie, commit fraud with their recommenders and cheat to get in. This meant that Tianhou retaliated by violating peoples' privacy in order to verify every last bit of information that got put in their apps--which was a pain for her to deal with, especially because she was not above stretching the truth to whatever extent she could get away with. Beilun has relaxed these standards quite a bit to make the TDXY more accessible (and to not essentially punish people for their honesty). But the way he and Fyra run admissions, it may end up making her job obsolete because their style of admission isn't really a game to be played--unlike Tianhou's extremely cookie cutter and stringent admissions determination process, the TDXY is actually looking to diversify and that means letting in people that don't necessarily "fit the mold."
