The Dreaming Clan was founded by Fae Rosefire and Tundra Icefire. Together with their son, Violetfire, they managed to buy several dragons into their Clan. Topaz, Isenfire, Basyana, Portal and Vaermina seemed to be settling in well, however Rosefire and Vaermina seemed to distrust one another and tried to stay away from each other.

As the days passed, more and more dragons joined. Soon it was Night Of The Nocturne, and with great delight they found hatchlings Starflight and Panthera.

A day soon came when Starflight and Basyana announced they were having a clutch of eggs. Many dragons rejoiced, except for Vaermina, who stood at the back and hardly celebrated anything at all. She was getting to be more bite than bark as the days went by, and even Isenfire couldn't cheer her up now. Rosefire didn't bother trying, as her dislike for the Wildclaw grew with each passing hour.

Soon, three new Wildclaws were bought as the effort to cheer Vaermina up instantly became public. Brothers Cray and Mythology, along with Goldenspark, who bore no relation to anyone, were announced as fellow Clanmates. Miraculously, Vaermina cheered up, seeming to follow Mythology everywhere and only talk to him. The Clan breathed a huge sigh of relief, thinking that the trauma was over and that Vaermina would be a more welcoming dragon.

Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

The sadness was thick in the air as dragons huddled round, their faces strewn with grief. Five deaths had been announced: Basyana the excitable Spiral, Panthera the wise Nocturne, Cray, the fiercest warrior, Kaiserygy and Elgyaiser, two Imperials who were siblings, and Zira, one of Vaermina's beloved daughters, had died. The group of dragons had been ambushed by another Clan, and only Mythology, who had played dead, survived.
Vaermina now cut herself off from everyone, even her mate, Mythology, and mourned alone, never speaking to any dragon and sleeping alone. Rosefire was pleased for now: she knew Vaermina was thinking of becoming leader, this would put a halt in her tracks, and she couldn't have that happen, letting that Wildclaw take over. Not to HER Clan.


Five years after the tragic incident, Violetfire passed away of sickness. Rosefire was indeed now childless, with no heir to her throne. However, truly, nobody knew there was still a descendant of the Fae in the Clan, hiding their identity, for they did not want to be the next leader. Vaermina had stopped mourning, and, with Mythology's support, now started to think again about becoming leader. From there on, rivalry between the two dragons increased like wildfire, always growling and snapping at each other, and Rosefire went so far as to name one of Vaermina's children, Mythicism, an outcast and a coward, never to become a true Clan member.

Dragons began to fear the two rivals, as the feud increased and they even began swiping at one another. They dreaded the day when they would kill each other, and by now the rivalry was so big they knew one of them would die.

And one did.

One, fateful morning, Rosefire suddenly passed away. At three years old, nobody knows whether Vaermina poisoned her or her body just wore itself out. They suspected Vaermina, but she looked as startled as anyone else. Rosefire's death still is a mystery, even to this day.



Icefire, after Rosefire's death, was now leader of the Clan. To try and prevent further deaths, he had enlisted Starflight and his daughter Staryana as healers. It was with great shock when he put out three rankings: Alpha (Male + Female), Beta (Male + Female) and Delta (Male + Female). It was even more surprising when he announced that Vaermina and Mythology would be his Betas.
Vaermina has softened up a little, now trying to include dragons instead of ignoring their plans, but is still the grumpy Wildclaw with a lust for battle every now and then. Satisfied, he has now retired and is content to allow himself to be looked after by his Clanmates.

There are legends that Rosefire's ghost still lurks with the Clan, but none of these rumors have been proven to be true. After all...
