The White Extinction, Snapdragon All the pins inside your fretted head And your muttered whens and hows, |
Walk carefully, else the rotted prince see your stumble. Breath quietly, else the crooked keeper hear the whistle of your lungs. Entire towns left barren in the wake of the White Extinction; a child of destruction and devastation. There is no cure, nor any repentance of the White Extinction for the havoc he causes, and the mourners left in his wake.
Snapdragon is a disturbingly visible diseased branch of the family tree within the Spring Court. He was born wrong, with his father's ailment only increasing in potency in his progeny. His magic seems to split him at the seams as an illness unto itself, manifesting in numerous white eyes on his stark white hide. Unlike many other sufferers of the White Rot, Snapdragon takes little care to hide his ailment; he prefers light drapings of silk and jewels, which accentuate his lack of color. He is surprisingly personable, if his stick-thin physique and numerous eyes can be overlooked in favor of his cunning, sarcastic personality.
Snapdragon has taken no mate, and seems content to let his grandmother, Chloe, continue to fail at "matchmaking" him with various dragons.
Snapdragon's enemies are numerous amongst the Courts, but many lack the bravery to confront him directly.
