♪Song from a Secret Garden - Secret Garden ♪

______ With quiet grace and delicate steps, Veroku passes the days tending to the vast gardens of Solace’s citadel, passing among the blooms and brush with a tenderness that belies her formidable stature. Not much one for the company of others, she relishes in the quietude the lush Eden provides, the similarities to her birthplace in the Everbloom Gardens a further source of comfort for her. In addition to providing sanctuary for all manner of plants to grow for aesthetic purposes, she also oversees the cultivation of many types of flora for alchemical and medicinal purposes, as well as a variety of herbs for brewing tea. Though she has a tendency to be more reclusive, she finds great joy in knowing the gardens provide a respite for others, glad that her creation can bring peace to the hearts and minds of her clanmates.


______Veroku’s vibrant ruby scales stand out even among the rich colours of her garden, as if she were one of its most magnificent blooms; in the sunlight her scales take on a shimmering translucency like glass, scattering prisms of scarlet light upon nearby vegetation. When she rests, scales crystallising into the statue form of her breed to keep watch over her charges, one could mistake her for a fine sculpture that had been made to be there, designed in perfect harmony with the resplendent gardens.

______I adopted Veroku early on in my time on Flight Rising, and she's definitely among my favourites - I adore her rich red colours against her green Nature eyes, even more with the spot of green provided by Blood Filigree. It's hard to imagine ever finding a skin for her, since I couldn't bear to cover her up
