He/Him | Bi | Young Adult

Sid's a rebel, with or without a cause, depending on who you ask. He's got an independent attitude and tends to go against the grain. He lives life his own way and doesn't take kindly to others trying to boss him around. All he wants is to live his life in whatever way he pleases, without others trying to put him in a box. Unfortunately, as he has a rebellious streak and an outspoken attitude, even among the easy-going, relaxed dragons of the Convallaria Coterie, he's got a bit of a bad reputation and has still not quite been able to escape the labels put upon him.

He's known to be tough, and when he was younger it was common for him to pick fights. He's mellowed out some as he's grown, but he's still got a temper when it comes to certain things. Despite the image he portrays, he's not a violent or mean dragon. He has a good heart deep down - in fact, one of the things he's still short-fused about is the mistreatment of others. He won't hesitate to stand up for someone, even a stranger, if he sees they're being treated wrongly. Still, he has a reputation for being mean because of his outspoken nature and his refusal to turn the other cheek when he sees something that upsets him.

Sid has made somewhat of an enemy of Priscilla, as their opinions often oppose one another. For instance, Priscilla believes Onyx can't be trusted and should not be allowed among the clan. Sid, however, believes that since Onyx has done nothing to make them worry, then he is owed the benefit of the doubt - and that unless he makes some move to harm the clan, he should be permitted a place among them no matter what.

Others among the clan tend to have divided opinions on Sid. Younger dragons either find his independent, punk attitude very cool, and they look up to him, or they think he's an overrated jerk. Older dragons usually fall on the side of finding his conviction admirable. The clan, thanks to the free-spirited, bleeding-heart types the clan's attracted, consists mostly of dragons who agree with his opinions. But there are those like Priscilla who think he's naive and stubborn.

He has no job within the clan, and he lives life at his own pace. He can often be found volunteering his time to those who may need help with any manner of chores or odd jobs. When he's not out helping his clanmates, he enjoys the arts. Whether he's good at them or not is irrelevant to him, as he partakes simply for the joy in partaking. He draws, he writes, he plays music - anything to express himself is something he's likely to dabble in. Self-expression is important to him and it's something he spends a great deal of energy pursuing. He's no stranger to causing trouble, either, though, and his idea of 'fun' isn't always politely engaging in the arts. He's not a goodie-two-shoes type and he enjoys a bit of chaos, as long as it doesn't hurt anybody. This compounds upon the reputation he already has, and some dragons see only the rebellious, short-tempered troublemaker, refusing to acknowledge the caring, compassionate heart beneath it all.

Sid came to the clan when he was very young, after running away from the clan he was born into. His independent nature and refusal to compromise on his beliefs led him to leave in search of a clan he fit into better - a clan with beliefs more in line with his own, where he could live his life without someone breathing down his neck. He traveled alone as a teenager until the Coterie's founders took him into their ranks.
