With a deep breath his euphoric voice matches the notes he is strumming on his lute. His song fills the tavern with a story recounting the travels of an adventuring group who attempted to steal a great treasure from a majestic creature. As he continued, the story took a turn, the adventures were defeated by the beast. He ended his song with a warning for others who may seek out the treasure, urging that death would be the only reward. Bassareus finished his performance and collected what tips he was given by those in attendance. He tipped his hat to the barkeep, and exited the tavern. Humans were so easy to fool, especially with powers like his. For months Bassareus had been traveling as a bard, offering his services to any inn that was located away from major towns or cities. His only reason for this was that he found it entertaining. Not to mention he was able to secure a decent sum of treasure from drunk patrons. Once he was far enough away from the tavern, Bassareus opened a portal and returned home.
