Skadi was a dragon whose life had been defined by darkness and struggle. Born on the stormy seas of the Icewarden's domain, she was raised among a band of pirates who roamed the frigid waters, raiding ships and taking what they needed to survive. Skadi was always different from the other dragons in her clan. She had a natural affinity for water, and a deep understanding of the currents and tides that governed the seas. She also had a fierce determination to rise above her humble beginnings, and a burning desire to make a name for herself in the wider world.
Skadi's opportunity came when she was chosen by a mysterious figure known only as the Oracle. The Oracle saw in Skadi a rare talent, a gift for magic that was beyond anything she had ever seen before. She offered Skadi a chance to join her on a mission of great importance, one that would require all of her skills and courage. Skadi accepted without hesitation, eager to prove herself and to embark on an adventure that would take her far from the familiar waters of her home.
The mission was a dangerous one, involving a search for a powerful artifact that was said to hold the key to unlocking the secrets of the universe. Skadi and the Oracle journeyed through treacherous waters, battled fierce sea monsters, and outwitted cunning enemies who sought to thwart their progress. Along the way, Skadi discovered a darker side to herself, one that was willing to do whatever it took to achieve her goals. She became ruthless, cunning, and fiercely independent, willing to sacrifice anything - even her own crew - to achieve her ends.
When Skadi finally located the artifact, she discovered that it was cursed, imbued with dark and malevolent power that threatened to consume anyone who possessed it. Despite the warnings of the Oracle, Skadi was unable to resist the lure of the artifact's power. She kept it for herself, and fled into the unknown, pursued by the Oracle who sought to take the artifact from her and prevent its power from being unleashed on the world.
For years, Skadi lived a life on the run, wrestling with the darkness within the artifact and struggling to contain its power. The curse of the artifact consumed her, leaving her a haunted and tortured soul, wracked by guilt and self-doubt. She became a recluse, living a solitary life on a remote island, constantly on guard against the Oracle's agents who sought to capture her and take the artifact.
There she was found by the Goddess Nyx, who brought her to the Conjured Realm. Here, Skadi found her true purpose. She sails the seas, Captain of the greatest fleet one has ever seen. Her curse of darkness made her fearless, willing to take risks and face impossible odds.
