Ludica is many things; beautiful, graceful, intelligent and above all, cruel. So much so at times Anissa can swear that Ludica is more like her grandmother than herself or Crone, and that scares her. But this matters not to Ludica, she simply sees it as proof that she is worthy of her grandmother's fleeting attention and sparse favour. But to hold it, the young pearl catcher needs to set herself apart, to truly do something that Queen Guinevere can't ignore. And so she turned that ever-plotting mind to the kingdom she was born too, and its needs. Not for the kingdom and its people's benefit, no, she had far more self serving ambitions. She tends to the royal gardens, and to the agricultural research and development, all so she can reach what she considers the perfect flower. Something that matches her grandmother in both her eternal beauty, and cruelty. To that end, Ludica never truly stops working, and has turned herself into a living display of her best specimens. These plants grow, wrapping around the bone arbour she wears, and feeding from her like parasites. Welcomed parasites. She believes by feeding on her, the plants she cultivates will be even closer to her magnum opus. She also sees wearing them as a form of protection, the grimly beautiful display preventing her from ever being more beautiful than the queen, but still unique and gorgeous enough to catch attention. It is a delicate balance, something Ludica has long since mastered dealing with, after all, plants are tricky sometimes. Too little or too much sun, the soil being too hot or too cold, even what is planted near it can all affect the growth of her cultivars, court life is not much different. It is simply a task of patience, planning and careful observations. Fitting her family is referred to as thornlings, she supposes. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬xxrelations.
