short lore notes, because last time i tried to write her lore down as a story i worded it awfully and accidentally kinda villainized her mother:
> born in the colonnades of antiquity under the helian family, a lineage of talented warriors and mages tasked with defending sornieth from shadebeasts and other forces that wish to harm its inhabitants
> as soon as she could walk and talk, she was put through very rigorous battle training
> though mom didn't mean any harm and only wanted for ianto to be successful in her duties, the pressure began to build up and soon ianto was very stressed out by the intense training and her desire to make her mother proud
> anju, seeing the distress that she was going through, tried to convince her to run away, and although ianto didn't want to leave their parents and twin brothers behind, she eventually agreed
> they now travel around sornieth sightseeing and visiting various clans, while ianto is learning that sometimes its alright to relax and have fun, and that she doesn't have to push herself so hard
> someday, when ianto has learned to manage herself better, she'll return to the colonnades of antiquity and be able to make her mother truly proud
> not her brothers though lol. noodledude threw them into the crescendo
Among the bustling markets of the Colonnades of Antiquity was where Ianto and her siblings first saw the light of day- and for a brief time it was where they were raised. She and her young twin brothers laughed and sang, while they weaved around the tables of go-getting merchants, who quickly turned from hopeful to enraged as the hatchlings knocked over stacks of their goods and took off. A tactician who has seen her far share of war, Ianto is a member of the Helian lineage who is known for her brute force, scary demeanor, and dedication to her brethren and family. The clanking of her distinct armor is recognizable from a mile away, as well as her confident gait. There isn't a time where one can catch her off guard, but if one does, then she's most often found indulging in the occasional sweet or sunbathing, two things of which she enjoys immensely. |
