Blazewing . he/him . blacksmith "I can make that work... perhaps." The Fire - Blazewing is the clan's blacksmith. he crafts custom weapons, armor and occasionally bits of jewelry as well. he uses his big wings and fire breath to heat up the metal oven. while he has a temper and is not always easy to work with, everyone still loves this ridgeback for their amazing craftship. when not running the oven you can always find Blaze back in the corner of his shop, sketching up new weapon designs. |

Didn’t think I’d see a dragon who can pull off the Welder’s mask, but Blazewing proved me wrong! I love his outfit. It gives the perfect vibes for the backsmith that he is. I also really enjoy the use of Cackle here. Normally it’s difficult to make work, but the cackle on this guy looks like the bursting, lighter flames! It fits Blazewing’s career quite well. He reminds me of lava bursting between metal. Too specific…?

Blazewing really stuck out to me, dragons with artisan / otherwise obvious trades are really fun to me, and his practical dark apparel really speaks to that point and compliments the star of the show: the welder's mask. What a cool, under-utilized piece of apparel. It looks particularly spectacular on m-pose ridgebacks, really exaggerating their wonderful facial proportions.
Cantaloupe really shines as a tert here too, crackle pulling in some of its white highlights to further lend power to the illusion of something molten.
