The "Salesman"

"Can I interest you in a proposition? Oh, nothing unpleasant, I assure you. I just want to give you the chance to get in on the ground floor of an amazing opportunity! Have you ever wanted to own a piece of the Southern Icefield without wanting to commit fully? Have you ever wanted to climb the property ladder but without doing any pesky maintenance yourself? Would you like affordable ownership of a cozy little cabin protected by one of the biggest warrior Clans south of the Frigid Floes? Well than have I got a deal for you!"

Just like his parents before him, Mr. Timeshare is a venture capitalist that lives and breathes sales, wheeling, and dealing. He legally changed his name, that's how committed he is to his craft! Or, at least, that's what his promotional materials say. The only thing Mr. Timeshare can commit to long term is his harebrained schemes to make loads and loads of money. He is, for the most part, successful. So what that the timeshares he sells happen to be in one of the most remote and inaccessible areas in all of Sornieth. So what that there is a mountain of maintenance fees every year, and a 20% surcharge on resale. So what if he requires sellers of his designer fishing gear to buy from him first, and promises they'll make money on their upline.

Timeshares are only the beginning when it comes to Mr. Timeshare. MLMs, Ponzi schemes, bridge sales, foreign princes that need treasure by mail, Mr. Timeshare does it all. From the questionably legal to completely unambiguous fraud, Mr. Timeshare is wanted in 4 separate elemental domains for his predatory tactics. He insists it's just a natural expression of his Wildclaw hunting instincts, with middling success.

Clan AXQU tolerates him because he pays 20% of his income in "rent" to the Clan that hosts him, knowing full well it's probably closer to 1% of everything he rakes in from his marks. Comparing him to a slime mold would be an insult to the slime mold, but Mr. Timeshare doesn't care. For him, it truly isn't about the money. It's about being the smartest guy in any room he's in.

The one good thing anyone can consistently say about him is that he genuinely loves his kids and is genuinely good to them. He is thrilled to be a single dad every time he nests, and his kids grow up generally well adjusted, although they tend to be extremely sneaky. Mr. Timeshare's biggest fear is that his kids become marks.

His best (and so far only) friend just tells people to assume he's lying if his mouth is moving. Mr. Timeshare usually manages to convince them otherwise anyway.
