Biography

Founder/ Lead Fighter of the Distorted Clan

Bones was originally a Tundra. He was abandoned soon after hatching in of The Fortress of Ends. A large clan thankfully found him before he was overcome by the cold. What was strange about this child though, was that he had the eyes of the shadow flight. Something impossible since the distance was too great for Bones to have traveled to the Ice flight and be the age he was. To add to the weirdness, Bones was much bigger than the average Tundra and seemed to have the power to read minds.

Whispers spread through the clan that this was a Gaoler hatchling they had just adopted. This made the clan fear him. They only raised him for fear that his parents might come and check on their hatchling. Bones didn't care. He grew to be a happy-go-lucky dragon with a love of fighting and language. He never stayed in one clan or even flight long, enjoying the open road and traveling companions more than any "family."

As Bones grew, he lost his supposed power to read minds. (Bones himself does not even remember having the power. Chalking it up to the superstitious clan.) Yet, when he became a full-grown adult, he was the size of a Pearlcatcher. Nowhere close to the tinier Tundras. This was great at first, but as Bones became older, he found he had troubles supporting his own weight. He had to rely on the magic of others just to hold himself up.

Traveling could no longer be his life. Heck, speed, in general, could no longer be part of Bones. Thankfully, this was when he met a pregnant Mirror named Stalactite. Her pack had left her behind, and Bones was kind enough to help find her a nest to lay her eggs in. He protected her family until the hatchlings could thrive on their own. As he watched Stalactite’s hatchling grow, he found that he couldn’t help but love them. This was what family was, and Bones wanted to be a part of one. The rest is history.

When the clan moved to the hot nature flight, Bones could no longer take his cumbersome body. It was then his mate revealed she and the clan had gotten him a changing scroll. He just about burst into tears when she and the clan presented him the scroll. It took most of the clan working and saving together. And it was all worth it as Bone lost his unhealthy size and could finally hold himself up without magic.
