Teddy

Teddy is pretty unusual, for a dragon- he is intrinsically trusting and open-minded. The disapproval of his own parents wasn't enough to stop him from rescuing a wounded Pocket mouse that was trapped in his childhood lair. The pair have been inseparable ever since, with the aptly named Lumin sleeping close to him every night. When it was insisted that he found a mate with a rather more acceptable view of the world, Teddy once again went against his family entirely, and started a home with the guarded Calypso, worn from brutality amongst her own clan. They're perfect for each other really- he needs someone to stop him from getting into trouble, she needs a partner who's compassionate enough to see past the savage nature of her childhood;
With the rapidly increasing size of his clan, mostly made up of outsiders, Teddy is only too pleased. Despite his mate's continual advice not to let any more strangers in, he just can't bring himself to turn away a dragon in need. Calypso warns him that he'll be in serious trouble some day, but honestly, he doesn't really care, since his first priority is helping others.
