Chill's egg was imbued with the icy energy of the Southern Icefields so it's natural that he'd be gifted with ice magic. But this magic expresses itself in the form of an icy breath that can freeze organic matter. As a hatchling, his sneezes would send tiny icicles scattering. He learned that he could trap insects and small prey with his breath and has learned how to weaponize it in combat as well. He sometimes uses this gift to help his brother and father with research, freezing samples for future study.
