Necromantic >> Me!

The child of a creature given new life and more fantastical than could be dreamed, Yharnam was named for a place that shared the same mysteriousness as the blood than ran through his own veins. His blood, he mused, as soon as he was old enough to do so, was of greater significance than could be fathomed by mortal minds. New, yet old, the power that sparked through his nerves drew Yharnam to libraries and archives to study that which was beyond perception. Other cursed bloodlines promptly became his fascination, other lineages of dragons with immeasurable power. Some, he found, has been cursed. Others, blessed. Others still shared a mixed blood which effected each afflicted in strange and unique ways. Yharnam was not quite sure under which category his bloodline would be penned, and he sought to pen it himself.

Yharnam's fixation on bloodlines led him down the path of phlebotomy, and eventually ended with him at the doors of a necromancer he'd heard tales of in dark taverns, in hushed voices. In the Southern Icefield, in a fairly sizeable clan, is where he found this free-thinking practitioner. And with this Necromancer, whom he considered quite odd and likely on the verge of mad, Yharnam continues to study the different bloodlines of the clan's inhabitants, in order to better understand his own.
