A mysterious individual who has never truly shown itself to any of the IKEA's inhabitants. At most, it has been seen wandering the shelves from afar, but whenever it was actively searched for, it has never been found. It is believed to be the personification of the IKEA itself, due to its coloring and familiarity with the space. The inhabitants of Alabama seem to think it is working with the Managers, however in truth the Managers know just as much about it as they do.

The IKEA itself is an endless building packed full of furniture boxes and decorations, home to several factions of wanderers. The most well-populated "city" is known as Alabama by its inhabitants. It's built atop several tall shelves with an intricate system of platforms, ladders, and boxes to get up into it. It houses roughly 100 dragons, since the sheer vastness of the IKEA makes it difficult for wanderers to find the city. None of the inhabitants know why it's named Alabama, and when asked they just say it's been called that since they got there and nobody's cared enough to change it.

Somewhere, amidst the seemingly infinite displays of furniture, is a cult group dedicated to summoning the spirit of the IKEA known as the Ödmjuk Clan (named for one of the many coffee mugs for sale. It is assumed that the creator of the Ödmjuk Clan found the name on a tag and thought it sounded cool). It is unknown why they're so bent on this, however the most common theories are that they do it to either find an exit through the help of the unknown individual or to somehow gain immortality. In reality, both of those theories are correct. Most of the members have their own goals for summoning IKEA and assume everyone else is doing it for the same reasons. Although a good chunk of the group actually know why they're trying to summon the IKEA spirit. They're likely just all following the examples of the others. Despite the fact that many of them don't know what they're doing, the Ödmjuk Clan is still rather dangerous and not much fun to run into. It's only a matter of time before they come up with the idea of blood sacrifices.

Lurking amidst the endless supply of swedish furniture are the two Managers, Ike and Kea. They have long since forgotten their original names, as they were the first two unfortunate souls to wander into the IKEA when it came into being an unknown number of decades ago. Despite the fact that they are likely several hundred years old, they have not aged one bit since they got trapped here. Their physical age, however, is the only thing that hasn't been warped by the cursed place. Their minds have been wiped clean of everything and replaced with the constant desire to train more employees. Their colors have been changed from what they were before to the colors of the IKEA logo. They creep about within the stacks searching for lost customers, who they recruit to the workforce. The Managers always seem to know where the other is and can arrive at the other's location almost instantly, no matter how far apart they've wandered.

The employees are not given the same treatment as the Managers, and will retain their memories and the ability to age until they wither away to nothing. Even though they are still mentally fit, they are unable to control their movements anymore and are constantly on the job performing an endless stream of menial upkeep tasks. If they see a wanderer, they are supposed to chase them down while promising amazing benefits and work schedules. The job does not actually supply those benefits and schedules obviously.

This IKEA idea is a smushed up amalgamation of a lot of things but the main two contributors are SCP-3008, which is an infinite IKEA, and GroceryStore's lair, which is very chaotic and fun in my opinion.

it was also partially inspired by a very terrifying trip to IKEA which involved, among other things:
- trying to find one middle aged white woman among a small army of similar looking people
- losing track of where i was several times
- a cart that constantly wanted to drift (fun at first. then it started to hit stuff and wouldnt go where i wanted it to.)

Exalting IKEA to the service of the Windsinger will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
