Biography
King Of Coins ♠ Patient Patron ♠ Blue Blooded
G1 ♦ Generated Progen ♦ Male Mirror ♦ Level 16 ♦ Seven Digit ID
Cerulean was drawn to Shadowlaw as she excavated her hold, biding his time as other dragons were rebuffed, often with blood and violence. His approach was careful and measured, intellect and speed saving him from her fangs until he could assist with the deed of carving out a hold.
This placated the war-blooded Shadowlaw, as he also defended their efforts with her as other dragons passed by. Once the lair was complete his final move was to dig a nest in a safe corner. This did not pass beneath the matriarchs notice and she soon had him over it, marking the drake with her teeth as her companion and leaving him to brood their eggs.
The first two new members were not the pair's hatchlings as expected, but a traveler whom had wandered far and wide as well as a disgraced soldier from another clan. Not terribly keen on them at first Phenax was the one to win cerulean over by tending to the red wanderer and forgoing the midnight matriarch entirely. This certainly spared the budding group strife, and once both adults had settled into their own cavern that the original pair dug for then they made admissions of loyalty to the new tribe. Cerulean then accepted them as family, wary but eager to build their strength.
Secret and Voudun worked hard to win the dominant pair over, hunting together as a team to bring back impressive kills for the clan's larder. As the hatching of the couple's first eggs was rapidly approaching this gave Cerulean more time to tend the nest and thus to placate Shadowlaw, whose rough manners were certainly losing some of their edge as she learned to work with the group.
When the pair's first nest hatched, the twins within those odd, glowing eggs were immediately accepted by both parents. Cerulean was proud to see the sisters had their mother's body coloration, and wings from his range. Both girls stayed within the nest for the first day, protected by their ferocious mother as Cerulean finally got a break from nest duty to seek out hunting of his own and bring gifts to the hatchlings, as well as stretch his weary limbs. Shadowlaw allowed him this freedom, and upon his return he brought meat enough for all of them to share.
As the clan grew it was very apparent that Cerulean was the mediator of conflict, despite his infamy as an enforcer of his mate's will he was more often than not welcoming new species into the lair as well as placating squabbles when and where they broke out on the clan's grounds.
