Born deep within the caves running throughout the Sunbeam Ruins, Valkyrie has always been more suited to the damp within the Lightweaver's domain. From the moment she could walk, she found herself drawn deeper into the caves. She was well fit for travel within them as she was a rather small hatchling, so her parents let her spend her time wandering- better that she know them than not.

As she began to have more and more close run-ins with those horrors deep underground, Valkyrie realized how much her fellow dragons needed a defender- and that she needed to be the one to do it. She trained hard with her rapier, learning how to cut-and-thrust with a cruel efficiency. When she came face to face with one of the monsters who terrorized her in all her youth, she dispatched them easily, saving the life of a young dragon lost in the caves.

Now, Valkyrie has dedicated her life to guiding the lost and heavy souls within the caverns of the Lightbeam Ruins.
