Upon reaching the Windswept Plateau, she decided to further her reputation and become a pirate. She soon met the pirate queen Marquise Spinneret Mindfang during a trip to the slave market where Marquise was searching for a new head to turn for profit. After her mistakingly trying to purchase the older Wildclaw, she quickly decided that she had to have her on her crew. A few weeks later and she had become Mindfang's loyal first mate.
