Bannoch

In his new specialization, Bannoch was a consummate professional, as always. He very quickly made himself a reputation as an exceptional fireworks fabricator. Working as a contractor, he was able to set himself up very well indeed. People were willing to pay premium for rockets that were not only beautiful but also safe.

Originally, his work with 'Works of Finest Fanfare' was contract, but he very quickly discovered that he greatly enjoyed making rockets for Iridis’ incredibly ambitious displays. Despite the odd controversy going around, he decided to sign on fully – what did it matter if his new boss did something rather…morally grey. Business was business, and business was cut-throat. If anything, it just meant he wouldn’t feel any guilt for jumping ship if Fanfare started to sink.

While he would never say that he regretted his decision to get into fireworks, certainly not!, as time passed he found himself thinking longingly of the travels he was able to do while working in excavation and pondering all the journeymen he never taught. The more mastery Bannoch gained, the more unfulfilled he felt in his purely technical role. Surely, there were others out there who’d be interested in learning about explosions in general and fireworks in particular?
