You hear a rustle in the leaves, the rushing of wind through the trees. You couldn't shake the feeling of someone, some*thing* behind you. You glance around but only catch a glimpse of red. Perhaps it was only the autumn leaves playing tricks with your mind. You decide to press on against your better judgment.

You reach a clearing. It seems more ominous than comforting. But your curiosity once again got the best of you and you slowly approach.
You didn't even hear a sound, it was her presence that made you turn. One of the few lucky (or unlucky) ones to have gazed upon her form. "Should we eat this one?" One head spoke to the other.
"Perhaps, it has been a few days since we last ate." That was all you needed to hear before your feet seemed to no longer be frozen at the spot.
As you fled back into the trees all you could hear was the disgruntled gruff of one of the heads.
"Maybe we shouldn't have said that out loud."
