the virulentian raiders paid heed only to the three mothers of the sunrot alliance - the plaguebringer, the lightweaver, and the flamecaller - but they oft neglected that last deity

that was only fair - they lived on plaguelands and the lightweaver heaped gifts open them by the fistful. the flamecaller didn't need her ego stroked by dragons pouring libations to her, and she was paid for her part in the great war with her cuts of the tangled wood and shrieking wilds.

still, a little magic would be nice.

that was the purpose of the dominance wars, as an ounce of another's magic was worth more to the gods then any other treasure on sorneith. the more magic a deity had, the stronger they became, and the flamecaller was utterly glutted on it after she'd done the tidelord and gladekeeper in, and got to peck at the tar-puddle carcass of the shadowbinder, strewn over the wood, as much as she wished.

she was generous with her alliance-fellow's toys. she sent them forgemasters and foundry overseers, powder makers and mine-hounds. the tools of production to make them as efficient as they could be.

though she does admit, it was to secure their good faith enough that they wouldn't mind her blatantly taking the best cut of each pillaged town

- a god hunter, charged with seeking out and destroying ‘demigods’, which are delusional but powerful chunks of astray magic at best and conmen at worst
- there are literally no other gods than the eleven, so they can only be these things
- this is way more of a problem in the godless regions, but it crops up enough for them to have work on virulent's raiding routes

- by targeting and securing these demigods, even if they only kill a handful of dragons a season, they've gotten a pretty decent morsel for the flamecaller, which is enough for her

- they're apparently hollow on the inside
- the 'firefly' is embers sparking out of their eyes

- both are attuned for fighting 1:1 with magic users, but generally they work as a team
- Abrazylauzas's stamina is immense and he can hold an enemy's attention while Dalgiamoji strikes in and out

- only follows around his brother during the off season to stop him from getting himself killed

- was the 'original' dragon, though they were only a few days old and thus had no consciousness for them to split, so both brothers got to formulate their own as they aged

- started making contingency plans in case he had to go after his clanmates
- but realized it was too much work after the first dozen
- so adjusted the tenant to 'all dragons that declare themselves as demigods are a threat'

- luzeludimyje's adopted father
- basically she washed up with a post it note from the flamecaller stuck to her forehead
- and she's very very messed up magically and bad to look at. but is still a baby
- dalgiamoji realized that he was one of only dragons with highscale fire magic who could teach her how to handle herself
- and kept trying to go 'no I'm your mentor' whenever she kept calling him dad but she's stubborner than him so he's dad now
