aurum is a brutally honest fae with a fierce protective streak and a high sense of responsibility that you either deeply respect or fear. if she wants something done, it gets done; simple as that. she's a quick fae of action, but is puzzlingly patient despite this, and just as encouraging. she's basically everybody's mother.

she didn't truly have any aspirations to lead a clan, simply wishing to see the sights of sorneith with her mother. but after being saved by an anxious fae and harpy duo, it just kind of.. snowballed. not that she regrets it, but she still laughs at how her inserting herself into the pair's life later turned into them collecting so many misfit dragons that it was legally considered a clan.

current day, she spends nearly every waking second working, working, and working. negotiating alliances with neighboring clans, tending to the clan's needs, organizing this or that, doing the jobs someone might be too sick to do that day.. but she still makes sure to spend time with those she loves.

a golden fae chittering away nearby is a common & comforting sight here in sunspine. it's quite nice to know there's always somebody you can rely on just around the bend. honestly, what would they do without her?

Pretty much the only trait Aurum didn't get from her mother, Willow, was her sense of humor. She's an old lady now, seeing Sunspine as grandchildren to her, with Aurum as their mother. She's a warm & welcomed sight any day.

She spends her time in her old age weaving beautiful tapestries, carving intricate wooden sculptures, and teaching other dragons how to do the same.. just as her own mother did for her clan.

Willow finds no greater joy than the simple things in life. She only wishes her workaholic daughter could feel the same.. but nonetheless, she'll spend as much time with her as she can, different lifespans be darned.
