Biography

Uh-oh, looks like this "Totally a dragon and not at all shadow goop" wandered a little too far from their home lair #466337 LenLyrical, and now they're off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, they'd really appreciate it if you could just return them to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but they would be very grateful!

Add-on (Kiln): From May 7th, and onwards Corvidae and Gunth would like to travel together as a pair for at least three more lairs! If this is not feasible, feel free to separate them. Otherwise, thank you for your consideration!

Owners I've Had:

LenLyrical (A little shadow goopy guy!! who can say no to that face)
Baxcalibur
Kiln Back-Up Home Lair

Little guy!
They're totally a dragon,
definitely not sentient shadow goop with bone hoarding tendencies!

Corvidae's Travel Log:

Kiln, The Salt Wharfs

Within his short time in the tangled wood, Corvidae quickly learned that water was not his friend. When rain hit his body, his cells rapidly absorbed it, causing swelling and loss of shape at best, and cellular rupture at worst. Corvidae ended up travelling North, after hearing a few whispering veilspun mumbling about how dry dragonhome was during a rainstorm.

The veilspun were very much correct. It was dry, dusty, and everything they complained about. Food was incredibly scarce too, and there were no reservoirs of shadow energy from which he could recuperate from.

He very nearly passed out.

When he woke up, he was somehow beside a sea... Someone must've found him, dried up like putty and wasting away... and yet... They were nowhere to be found. Frightened and unsure, Corvidae spread his tired wings to try to fly... only for his goop to fail him.

He needed to eat, and fast...

That's when the nightmare started. It had begun to rain.

Corvidae would spent the next hour scrambling along the rocky cliffs to find shelter, and he dove into the first cave he could find... There he met, Gunth. A non-dragon just like him, but much more put together.
Gunth gave him ten minutes to explain himself, so he began to ramble nervously,

"W-well I just came from the Tangled Wood and the Plaguelands a long time ago, and wanted to find somewhere dry, and then I passed out, and then Iwoke up here! Someone must've found me, and I don't know who! And now it's raining, and I'm falling apart-!"

"Calm yourself," Gunth stood up, and placed a claw on the Goopling's forehead, "ü̶̡̧̡̨̙̞̜͍͇̫̫͉͔̘̘̬̥̞͙̜̩̱̞̜̪̯͉̦͎̪͐̌̄̆̈́̓̑̿̈̌̆͘̚̕͜͝ͅm̸̢̧̢̧͉̣̬̮̞̘̼͈̝͙͈͔̮̦͙̩̼̘͈͇̖̳̲̝̩͔̭͉̥̅̋̓̔̿́͆͛̓́̀̈́͘̚͘͠͝ͅb̵̢̭͙͖̺̖̩̦̱͕̳͎͌͌̓͊̈́͋͊̆͗̆͠r̴̨̨̢̥̣͎̦̲̻̣̦̣͖͙̣͉͓̜̪͔͓͔̗͍̮̱̖̤̞̯̞̉̉͋́̉̓̋͒͒̈́̀̐̿̓͋̇͂̉͘͜ą̴̢̺̻̖̱̮̣̞̳̘̓̀̃̄̌̀̓̈̈́̔̓͝l̷̥͙̠͓̰͖̺͔͇̘̻͖̳̻̘͂͗̄̈́̈́̊̃̋́̈́̉̐̿̍̄̌̿͋̈̾̇̚ ̸̛̜͈̲̖̘̙̦̩͗͐͝ͅr̸͙͑̎͌̇̄̂̿̐͒̓͆̃̓̓͋͆̌͝͝͝ê̷͙̌̍̎̈̉̉͆͋̌̆̊͊̑͒̿̕͝͠f̸̲̯̲̮͔̓̐̉͛̍̐e̷̟͈͇̝̞̰̰̦͎̅́̈̏͊̽͠c̵̩̼̝̪͗̀͆͊͑̍̉͂͌̓̂̀̉̃̾͐̋̌͛̈̄͛̂̉͋̒͝͝͝t̴̨̡̮̼͍͔̘̫̮̭̩͉̮̫̩̖̥͕̤͖͎͉̼͖̱̟̘̱̝͕̯̉̊͋̿̓̈̀͛̈́̂͛̊̅̂̑̓́̔̀̄̚̚͜͜͝ͅȋ̴̧̢̨̢̨̨̛̮̥̪̮̞͎̖̙̗̮̖̹͖̱̤͕̩̪̜̙̼̭͍̈̈́̃̀͒̀̇̈͗͒̄̒̈͋̓̈́̾̉̚̚͜͝͝ǫ̴͕̪̱̯̤̗͈̫̤̀̈́͗̑̅́͌͌̉̌̉̐̌̒͗͊̉̌͒͌̈́͐͒̅̕͝͠n̴̨̧̨̟̥͓̹̻̮͍͇̦͇̗̖̻̲̹̼͖͉̪̬̯̤̰͍̗̲̝͉̐̌̌̔ͅͅi̴̛͈̠̎̑͒̌̑̓̉͗̈́̊́̿͒͊̇͋͊̔̈́͌͊̕͝͝s̶͕̦͑͜"

Like a puppet on a string, Corvidae felt a dark energy seep from Gunth's hand into his body. It felt intrusive and demanding. It pulled the loose chunks of him back together, and like a glue, his body was able to retain his former dragon-like shape.

"H-How did you do that?! I-I've always wanted to learn magic!!!"

"Good...Good... You may remain with me then. I will teach you, I could use an apprentice."

Yippee!!!
