ABOUT -

» Growing up as a young adult fae in Uptown Glorywood with his two best friends, a guardian named Sullen & another fae named Emily, he was a part of a friend group of outcasts from the city, who rejected the three of them for having such strange obsessions. While both his friends were obsessed with things such as fish and the different beastclan species, he was simply enamored by things such as robots, glitches, and animate objects that should be inanimate! He also has a hard time expressing his emotions, and is monotone most of the time.

Why was he interested in such things? It stems from his origin from the famous glitch queen, Naomi. When he was just born, his birth father told him all sorts of stories about Naomi, and how he was her great-grandson. For the next few days, he plotted to try and find Naomi, and since Naomi was an arcane dragon, he decided to try and go out and find Naomi at only a few days old. He decided to go stop at the Kingdom of Ascension, and because of all his big talk about trying to find Naomi, he was brought to a small house in Uptown Glorywood where he lived until he was an older adult. While he was staying at the inn, his interest shifted from trying to find Naomi to strange miracles, robots & glitch items. He felt like they were similar to him, and how he and these items both had strange but similar origins.

Abyss met Sullen & Emily at the same time, while the both of them were visiting the inn's joint mini zoo & aquarium. After talking with the young fae for a bit, Sullen & Emily welcomed him as part of their friend group after realizing that he too had a strange obsession with something. Abyss quickly formed a crush on Emily, and it went unnoticed for a long while. He had a hard time expressing it in a way that would be noticeable, because of his monotone voice. It wasn't until he and Emily had a conversation that would change their relationship forever.

"H-Hey, wanna be mates?"

"Cool."

"Yes."

After this very awkward conversation, Abyss then proceeded to lick Emily's cheek, and vice versa. Even if they felt awkward, they smiled at each other & were both very happy. From that moment on, they got more and more comfortable with each other as mates, and will keep continuing to grow together.

Right now, he and Emily are ldr, as she is currently in training to join the warrior branch of the Honorables. While Abyss does not qualify to be a warrior due to his element, Emily has urged him to join the mage branch, specifically the group that heads off to the Golem Workshop. Abyss immediately said yes, because he would be able to be closer to Emily, as well as be able to see robots up close. After his application as a mage dragon got accepted, he was put on the waitlist to be trained! He's excited for his future as an Honorable mage, but for now he focuses on his glitch gadgets & robots, and even visits Sullen in the Glorywood Laboratory & goes out with her to hang out at least once or twice a week! Emily will be able to join them once she is finished with her training & becomes an Honorable, but for now, the three of them are waiting for their reunion.
