One of the four permanent nursery residents, Cicero and her "twin", Gulzaar, dedicate their efforts to watching over the hatchlings of the Nightwalker Clan while their parents are away.

When she isn't bandaging scraped tails or patiently guiding a youngster through their fledging flight, she can be found tending the massive and sprawling herbal garden which blankets the thorns of the well-defended Walker nursery. This garden also provides the many flora that go into the bags of the Walker traders who embark on the seasonal "trader's run" across the inter-flight borders.

She teaches primaries to the hatchlings, and her domains include all "living skills" (her words), such as basic hunting, stealth, tracking and navigation, herbology and ethnobotany, camping, first-aid, hand-to-hand combat, and, of course, tea-making.

Between her and her cousin, she is the one to settle disputes amongst hatchlings, advise or soothe a worried brow, and offer a hug to console an unrequited crush. She is also the first one to pull out the bamboo switch when the mischievous decide to push their luck.
