B I O G R A P H Y

Main Theme: Theme of the dragon, once I find one.

______ Many of the clans of the Wyrmwound believe being touched by one of the Plaguebringer's creations is a blessing; a chance to prove oneself to their deity, to conquer the disease and make it one's own - or die trying. When Azuriel was 'blessed' in such a way as an adolescent, she was cast out from the clan as per the custom, her survival now resting entirely upon her own shoulders, and forced to eke out a solitary living in one of the harshest and most hostile environs of Sornieth. Though among the lucky few to survive make it to maturity, the experience still haunts her, and the pain still lingers, both from the memories and the disease that lurks within.

______Atreus, her pair-bond, is her opposite in many respects, a comforting and healing presence to her with her past of rot and ruin. Their bond formed slowly over a period of many years as she struggled to learn it could be safe to trust in another, but Atreus was always patient with her, and understanding of her reticence. She feels she owes him a great deal, and is content to spend the rest of her life repaying him.

______Azuriel is another of my collection of Crystal/Facet Imperials, also bought because I thought she was pretty, and I have no regrets, nor any concept of having 'too many' Crystal/Facet Imperials. I especially love how well the red of her Plague eyes and apparel compliments her colours. Even though her aesthetic is quite different to Atreus', I do really love them together, more so after writing their bios.
