Brothers Weregild and Ransom had made a decent life for themselves as mercenaries--prowling the Plaguelands and beyond, loaning their talents to various clans in exchange for food and treasure. Skilled hunters of both monster and dragon alike, they've always enjoyed the excitement that comes along with the life of a sellclaw.

They've stayed in Scapula's clan longer than they've meant to, however. It's turned out to be more comfortable than expected, and Scapula's daughters are more persuasive than they'd initially given them credit for.

If asked, they will wholeheartedly deny being a "part" of anything. The pay is just really good here, they'll say. And who would want to leave such lovely ladies if they don't have to, yet? Mirrors are treated well, here. It's a nice gig. But sure, they're leaving soon. Just as soon as they take care of this one last hunting trip...
