As a slight wind blew through the caverns, rock began to crumble. Odd.. A mind thought, unaware of what was becoming of themself. I dont think I’ve ever felt such a breeze…

As the breeze turned to harsh wind, a breath was finally taken by those crumbling beneath the rocks from the earth.

New life was being born.

BLANK began to lean forward, completely unaware of what was happening, but realizing they had movement unknown to them. As her eyes darted around, she saw others like her, covered in dust and dirt from the crumbling rock, and stretching their newfound wings and paws.

BLANK roared in excitement, but struggled to lift a paw as her brothers and sisters did. They looked to her, but ignored her cry for help. She was stuck. They looked at her in a sort of disgust as the vines, grass, moss, and more covered her from head to toe. They had never seen such greenery before. They had not seen anything other than these caves before.

As BLANK cried for help, she pulled harder and harder at the vines, but had no luck in breaking them. They held her still as she struggled. It was clear she was not ready yet. Earthshaker had given her life, but nature had not.
