entos is a priestess of the sun and stars, and only the second dragon to ever hold that title. with the disappearance of the tidelord, the water flight's rush to find new reliable ways of telling fortunes resulted in them growing sloppy with their secrets. all across sorneith the word was spreading of the methods the water dragons once used to read the ripples in the pools and translate the whispered words of their father in the popping of bubbles deep underwater. as knowledge of how grew, so did the practice of divining--each elemental flight began to discover their own ways of prophesying.

and each discovered the visions were coming from something beyond the deities.

the lightweaver was, as always, unbothered when the first of lights lore-keepers expressed their concerns to her. she had never lied about the origins of the tellings, and cared not for the water flight and their inner politics. she soothed them in her stern way, and they appointed an augur of their own. this first augur, later titled the priest of the sun and stars, did not have the gift of foresight. he was rather a record keeper, risen from the ranks of the lights circle of lore keepers, knowledgeable of and recording all prophecies cropping up on the sunbeam ruins.

when entos hatched, many many years after the disappearance of the tidelord, she was born with true clairvoyance. the only vision the first priest ever received was of her, in her youth, and he sought her out to take his place.

it was very young when it left its family to live in the beacon of the radiant eye. unlike with its predecessor, the lightweaver took great interest in it. she took entos under her wing, and made it her apprentice specifically rather than leaving its tutelage to the current priest. and very few years passed before it was appointed the actual true priestess of the sun and stars.

she was assigned bast as a guard when he returned from battling luminax, but it was no shock to her. she had seen the shattering of the shade eaters, and she had seen that he would live. her visions are unpredictable and rare, but all of them have been true. she remains kind, and spontaneous, even while burdened by undeniable knowledge of things to come.
