more lyrics A merchant by trade but a fighter by heart, Vilin spends his days traveling with the merchants of the Revelers, idly peddling his wares at each stop they come to. His humble shop sells raw metals and gems that he and his brother Blaise harvest in their free time, usually from local mines. Despite being a dragon of Fire, his passion lies not with shaping metals to his will, but in encouraging others from all walks of life to do so instead. more lyrics In the evenings, or on his rare days off, Vilin can be found with a hastily made dummy and a clumsy wooden sword or spear, practicing the things his elder brother, Puck, teaches him during their rare visits back to the Reveler's lair. Inspired by the showmanship and bravery of gladiators he's seen in his past. When he's sure no one is around to watch, he dons a suit of armor that he smithed himself (albeit amateurishly) and pretends that he's a gladiator himself. Blaise definitely knows, but he won't tell Vilin that he does. more lyrics As much as Vilin would love to pursue his dreams of being a fighter, he knows that he must tend his shop more than train. Amateur gladiators don't make nearly enough to afford a decent home, and he needs to keep what he's got. He loves Blaise far too much to ask him to take on extra work. |

The two eventually found themselves in the city of Anville, an industrious city on the northeastern face of the Great Furnace, where they stayed for a good long time until other things called. more lyrics Specifically a troublesome older brother who's clan was running short of good merchants. Vilin has never pined for love, but he finds himself with so little free time that it's difficult to meet anyone, even with the wide variety of people they meet on their travels.
