Emeralt’s (Em-er-ault) name can be a little misleading, considering the word “emerald” doesn’t describe his coloring or what he does. Rather, driven by his interest in fossils, Emeralt is an archaeologist. He loves digging for fossils and discovering new species from long ago. If he’s not doing that, then he’s probably got his nose in history books and doing intensive research into the past (he’s even encouraged Larona to write a book of her own with her knowledge of legends). There’s a reason why he’s bonded to a Shardback Minmi. (“Because who doesn’t like dinosaurs?” he asks.)

Emeralt is in a relationship with Bluxy and Meerna. He loves them both and is sure to remind them of this fact whenever he can. He also likes to gift them with pretty fossils or the familiars he’s discovered (with Medena’s advice, of course—finding the best dragon-familiar pair is very important to her). He makes sure not to overwhelm them with these items, but they love the things he brings them regardless.
