An arrogant but understanding teacher who doesn't take no for an answer (unless a council member says it) and works to train and prepare young dragons for their future. She doesn't like to chit chat or hunt with groups (she feels it's a waste of time) so when she isn't teaching, she practices her battle moves and hunts alone.

Satsujin doesn't like her at all; she thinks Kurai is still loyal to the light dragons, but the rest of the clan trusts Kurai to defend them and the Shadow flight.
