pKJPmmw.png Caspian lay back under the hot sun, looking at the blue that stretched out around him in all directions. This was the life of a fisherman. Tranquility.

It truly feels like you're the only one in the world when you're out here. Unless... what was that shadow? Its under the water, too small to be a shark. But moving incredibly fast. And towards him.

Caspian jumped to his feet, grabbing onto the spear that usually lay at the bottom of the boat. He had lost sight of it, but knew it was coming. Where, which direction. Would it leap out of the water, or just slam into him.

Suddenly, he saw a flash from the right side of his boat. With all his might he threw the spear into the water, where the dark shape had been. Success. He had hit his target.

Blood started spreading out in the water, as he wrenched his spear out of whatever had tried to attack him. He never figured out what it was, but just watched as it quickly started swimming back to shore.

The blood would attract sharks. He should get going soon.
