An odd phenomenon has made Viluminous a very wealthy, very revered dragon. His scales have mutated in a similar manner to those dragons that become bejeweled with precious stones, except for him, his body becomes littered heavily with flakes and pebbles of gold. and It grows so rapidly onto his hide that it constantly falls off and regrows, leaving him in the position to be quite literally worth his weight in gold. He's become very arrogant since this mutation and those around him hardly help his disposition. Tourmaline especially fuels his self importance as she constantly tries to worm her way into his lair and incidentally into his hoard. Of all the hoards his is by far the most extravagant and lush, leaving a few of his clanmates rather envious to say the least. It's filled with luxurious silks, throws and comforts as well as vast piles of wealth from Viluminous' golden hide.

As for his role in the Clan, he is in charge of the more tedious dealings with merchants and clans looking to barter. He may be full of himself but he's got a sharp wit for eyeing the true value of something. With the blessings of Erothene he makes sure to spend the clan's wealth in the most frugal and clever ways.

He also tends to the bad influence in helping others make more personal purchases, making people spend their coin on things they want rather than letting them hold onto it and stay miserable.
