A retired privateer who moved to The League of Valor to live her retirement out as a fisher. If there is one thing Angelina knows, it's the sea. In her youth, she traveled every inch of Sornieth's seas, on the surface and in the depths, through calm waters and dangerous storms. She may be retired, but her decades of sailing experience make Angelina well respected among the citizens of Kaito. Years ago, Angelina moved to the coastal city of Kaito. Like with countless other seas, it did not take long for the guardian to become familiar with the waters that border the city. She came to know it like the back of her hand; where all the best fishing spots were, what seasons brought what sea creatures, and what areas to avoid. In recent years, however, the guardian has noticed some changes with the city. Not long after the city's current governor was appointed, the seas have been... inconsistent, to say the least. There are days where it is perfectly calm, but storms form without any sort of warning. Fish populations fluctuate wildly, and unfamiliar shadows beneath the waves are becoming increasingly more common. Although there is always some degree of unpredictability with nature, the guardian knows that not even the harshest of oceans will behave so wildly and so suddenly. But the changes have not been limited to the ocean. Angelina has noticed that her mood seems to fluctuate with the time and day far more than it ever did. Strong feelings of fear and anger seem to crop up unprompted like the city's unannounced storms. She could be feeling perfectly fine one day and wake up on the next morning feeling worse than she had ever felt in her entire life. And worst of all? There are days when Angelina is by herself on fishing trips, when she is suddenly paralyzed by fear. Dark shadows begin to shift far beneath her boat, glowing eyes occasionally glinting up at her. She does not know what is in the water, but she can see it. And it is calling her name. ▬▬ ORIGIN ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Angelina has always been the adventurous sort, which was what lead her into becoming a privateer in the first place. And although she looks upon her past fondly, after decades of battles and braving the often unforgiving ocean, she decided it was time for her to retire and seek out a more peaceful life. Of course, her love of adventure still remains, but in her old age, she's come to value a quiet, mundane lifestyle more. But as a privateer, Angelina has made her fair share of enemies, some of which are still after her despite her retirement. If she were younger, she would simply laugh and welcome the challenge. But as a retiree, such enemies would be disturbances to her quiet life. She could deal with them, sure, but wouldn't it just be easier to go where she wouldn't be found?
