Oran

"I simply don't see why I must clean the den, that's much more suited to you, Amogha. After all, I'll be inheriting the role of clan leader one day, while you will be....doing whatever it is you do with your time....Shhhh! Wait, no I was kidding, don't tell mom, I'll sweep the stupid floor!"

Background: Oran was hatched alongside her 2 other siblings, Amogha and Sintara. She claims she was born first of the three, and while Maelgad and Merwin are elder siblings of hers, they are not related by blood, and therefore not eligible to replace Salma as clan leader when the time comes. This, of course, is complete nonsense.

Personality: Oran is...certainly ambitious. More so than her mother, it would seem. Like her mother once did, she dreams of becoming a clan leader of her own one day, but being so young and inexperienced, lacks many of the skills required to lead effectively. Oran detests work, labor, chores, and anything similar. She is loathe to lift a single talon to assist with the day-to-day maintenance of the clan, and will spend more energy fighting her responsibilities than it takes to actually complete them. Among her positive qualities, however, she seems to have inherited her mother's gift for words, boasting a lengthy vocabulary and ability to string sentences together in such a way that, with a little more practice, could convince a pearlcatcher to part with its namesake pearl. Not that she would ever do that, of course. No. Never. Don't even worry about it.
