- Bart bought Bela from a circus
- he was passing by interested by the crowd of potential buyers and strange new things he would see
- he passed by a cage that Bela was in and she begged him to see her free

- and so Bart went to bargain with the ring master
- he was a egotistical fool who drove unreasonable bargains, but Bart was a master at his trade and made him feel like he was incrontrol and receiving the better deal or something idk
- Bart is not a bad man, he is a merchant, a man who will only go out of his way to do good if it benefits himself aswell
- if a desperate need arises where his help is needed and he can’t be compensated by the amount for the deed he will settle for lower
