"....I am rambling again, aren't I?"

Awel is a Welsh name, it means 'Breeze'.

Born to Mael and Otachi, Awel grew up with his parents within the clan. Energetic like his mother, Awel is a little more carefree, easygoing and a tad forgetful. He likes to dance on the wind, letting the breeze carry him wherever it goes. This often gets him lost, or too far from the clan, but thanks to his father's pearl, he is always found back. But his wanderlust takes him further from the clan every time, and his wish to see the world was just a dream. His home was with his parents, his mother who he had a strong bond with. He couldn't just abandon him?

It was when his wanderlust was noted by Mory that he was given a job by the head of the clan: to be the clan's mailman, delivering their messages to whoever across the world. A most important job, and a perfect one for the dragon who would let himself be carried away by the breeze to wherever!

His parents, especially Mael, were a bit sceptical at first, but eventually decided that this was the best suited job for their son. And that this way, he got to wander, but he would always have to return to the clan for new messages and mail.
