It would have been hard for me not to like a series about a world of anthropomorphic amphibians, as a Professional Herp Nerd. The only thing that would have made it better would be giving me a ****** blood knight warrior woman character. Oh wait. They did. Then the only thing that could have made said character better was to make them unabashedly anime. Oh wait. They did. But seriously, the only thing that would make General Yunan even more fabulous and generally great would be for her to be (Amphibia finale spoilers) a butch lesbian in an edgy/wholesome pairing...OH WAIT. THEY DID. Yunan/Olivia forever. I love her character arc. I love her design. I love everything about her. I love that she's to some degree a reference to my beloved Team Rocket trio.
